The first step is to test the faucet and ensure that the internal hoses are not twisted or dirty, and that the hot and cold water lines are correctly distributed and not reversed. It is also important to ensure that there is silicone around the edges and no water leakage under the sink.
Inspecting the Sink Basin and Other Facilities
The sink must be checked to ensure it is properly installed, level, and free from manufacturing defects. Additionally, the toilet and shower must be inspected to ensure they do not leak water and are functioning correctly.
Inspecting the Uniset (Concealed Toilet Cistern)
It must be ensured that the “Uniset” – also known as the wall-hung or concealed toilet – is functioning properly, that the flush button is securely in place, free from manufacturing defects, and operating correctly.
Checking the Tiles Around the Bidet
One common issue that may occur during finishing is a crack or hairline fracture in the tiles where the bidet holder is installed. Therefore, this area must be meticulously inspected, especially if the tiles are dark or black, so that it can be addressed before being discovered later by the client. Cracks occur because technicians often use the hammer drill setting (Hammer Drill), and it is preferable to avoid this setting unless absolutely necessary, such as when dealing with extremely hard porcelain tiles.
Documenting the handover process in the company’s approved form
After completing all mentioned inspections and ensuring no errors, everything is documented in the acceptance form, which the company retains for future review. Clients can also request a copy of the acceptance form when purchasing the apartment to be assured that all work has been accepted according to precise engineering principles, rather than a random, unsystematic acceptance. This significantly reduces future errors and confines their detection to the engineering team, rather than making it the client’s responsibility later on.
